Generational trauma, poverty and limited opportunities are obstacles Native American children face in the United States every day. These children deserve a better life for themselves, their families and their communities. Change is possible for children looking for a New Direction thanks to St Labre Indian School.
In their latest PSA, New Direction, your audiences will learn that St. Labre is more than a school. It is a place for Native American children to receive the tools they need to become change-makers of tomorrow for their families and communities. Your viewers will hear the inspirational voices of students who share how St. Labre is not only a place where Native American children learn, but a place where they can feel safe and celebrate their cultural heritage.
Since St. Labre’s founding in 1884, we believe that all students deserve a superior education and that all students can achieve at the highest levels by educating the whole child. Beginning with pre-school and kindergarten, through high school we provide an exceptional private school education to Native American children in Southeastern Montana at minimal or no-cost to their families.
The St. Labre educational experience places great importance on Native American culture and tradition. Instruction in Native American languages and culture is a vital part of the curriculum. St. Labre also offers courses in Native American literature, history, and tribal government.
